Añasco: Ciudad donde los dioses murieron (2023)

This mural was commissioned by the Municipal Government of Añasco and features various iconographies from the town’s history and notable figures. This project was carried out in celebration of the town’s 290th anniversary and is considered one of the largest murals in Puerto Rico, measuring over 51 feet high by 98 feet wide. Its title references the town’s nickname, derived from the drowning of the Spanish soldier Diego Salcedo, one of the events that led to the Taíno uprising in Puerto Rico.
